Domestic brands will be dominating without any foreign brands in the top 10 before the end of the decade. There’s also the fact that they have useable public transport.
A tepid shell of a husk of a PTSD memory of Buick still exists. There was a point where GM stumbled ass-backwards into making some honestly pretty reliable cars that were dirt cheap to maintain, but those days are looooong gone.

There was a new ad campaign from Buick a few years ago that was centered around how no one thought they were still around or made remotely modern cars

I read that Buick is marketed/built as a luxury brand in China. But that might be 10 years out of date.
