Lol, what rehabilitation? Reagan has always been popular with liberals. There is an entire trend in popular media of romanticizing and idealizing the 80s that has been happening for years now. Both Clinton and Obama had economic policies nearly identical to Reagan’s, in some cases going even further. And liberal jingoism is huge in the US, especially when it comes to cold war stuff. They don’t need to rehabilitate what they were never against to begin with.
