Democrats reponding to Trump’s transphobia: “I want to kill trans people too!!”
Note that they’ve stopped saying “trans people” and have already taken over transphobic wordings like “biological male in women’s sports” - and that’s only the beginning, the degendering and regendering of trans people is the only time transphobes even bother to refer to us as … i’m not gonna say humans or people, they very much do not intend that, but it’s the only time we appear at least as existing, living creatures. Most of the time, that does not happen. It’s just “(trans)gender ideology” or “transgenderism”. Our erasure starts with erasing us from the most malleable thing our enemies have in their hands, from language.
Yeah, that’s apparently the standard behavior for them now. They never really had our backs, but ever since Gavin Newsome had that fash on his podcast and said he was against trans women competing with other women in sports, that position has slowly been spreading as the new party line. It won’t stop at that, either. It’s not the minor issue libs pretend it is, if anybody thinks that a single-digit number of trans athletes that perform just like every other girl they run against makes it ok to openly misgender all trans women everywhere, that person is just a full-on transphobic opportunist.
Classic Liberal horseshit. Agreeing with the reactionaries on substance but disagreeing on tone.
When you’re all for the discrimination but draw the line at explicit slurs.
Surely this will be the time that triangulating to a “softer” bigotry will win over the most horrible voters in the country!

Neat that the Democrats were never really our allies. I’m sure they’ll make up excuses about how transphobia is actually good for trans people or something the same way they make up excuses about how genocide is good for Palestinians, and I’m sure lots of people will fall for those excuses

A lot of fellow white trans people are going to owe me an apology. Lol JK, no one ever acknowledges treating me like shit for saying things like “I’m not voting for genociders.” “Harris hates trans people too” and “The Dems are not going to do shit for us”
Some people are born to be a man or woman. Others really have to fucking work for it! All love and respect to my trans brothers and sisters. You know a struggle that the rest of us don’t.
But be sure to VOOOOOOTE for these people agreeing 100% with the CHUDs on trans people. It’s the only way to protect trans people!
