It looks fantastic, I expect it to really scratch that specific podracing itch. Only thing I’m scared of is how to figure out where the fucking track is. I’ve seen a decent chunk of gameplay footage, and players are making turns and going in directions that are complete shocks to me. Like, how the hell are you supposed to know that when you hit this open section, you gotta bank a hard hard left to find a specific cave to keep going through on your lap?
Probably overthinking it though. The roguelike elements seem like they’ll tickle the “hee hee numbers go up more gooder” part of my brain.
Gonna download DroidDeck and see if I can get it running ok on my android handheld, otherwise, laptop it is.
Is Sebulba in it?
Yes
Then it’s a day one Sebulbuy from me
i just can’t bring myself to give a single shit about star wars anymore

Bit idea: rally style pacenotes, but in the KotOR “mucha shaka paka” voice.
I’m going to wait on this one. It seems a little undercooked and missing pretty important features (like doing a quick race or time trial on a specific track) that some people have already complained about. I could see it being super cheap in a year or two. All that being said, I bought Zero Company at launch lol.
Looks really cool but Imma wait for more hands on impressions. By users I mean.
Episode 1 Racer is my favorite racing game, I’m cautiously optimistic about it.
