BRICS nations called for ending economic, commercial and financial measures against Cuba in the New Delhi Declaration adopted at the group’s summit in India.

“We reiterate the necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial measures against Cuba in accordance with UNGA Resolution,” the document said.

BRICS leaders expressed “deep concern on the situation relating to Cuba due to the tightening of unilateral blockade measures against the country, their adverse effects on the Cuban economy, energy supplies and the worrying humanitarian impact on the Cuban people.”

    The US is obviously not capable of sustaining itself and navigating the contradictions it continues to create. Even domestically there is some substantial movement (not enough, but it’s noticeable) .

    Fascism actually sucks if you arent a true believing race scientist or religious nut, and 70% of the population just isn’t into all that. Even if you’re on board, it’s actually tough to be in power, particularly when you have no real understanding of why things happen. This doesn’t mean that Trump’s fascism will be defeated, nor that a social Democratic US will somehow be anti-imperialist, but it’s not really viable to continue the empire while hoarding all the wealth and power. I think a reconfiguration will be necessary in the next couple of decades which will interrupt the empire’s ability to project itself.

    Socialism will be built by our comrades in the global south, economically anchored by the PRC. It will eventually be forced on the withering united state, although that might be a century out. This doesn’t mean we :sit-back-and-watch: by any means. We must identify and expose the contradictions to accelerate the retreat of the empire.

    Anyway there are two wolves inside us, just wanted to feed the other one too cancel out some of the doomerism.
