Hasn’t Netflix been drastically raising its subscription fees in the last several years, too? I might try the season two premiere of something I barely remember but I’m definitely not reactivating my subscription for it. It’s all so easy to do without.
Even with d stuff, I can’t drag myself back into some of these streaming shows. I’m a full season behind on Doctor Who, I haven’t finished The Boys, and I’m maybe one episode into the most recent season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
I’ve stayed spoiler-free, but I do already know that I’m in for a bloodbath on all three. So that doesn’t help either.
Yeah, even with piracy numbers the study’s conclusion probably still holds. Maybe more so, since you’re less likely to be pushed into watching something you’re completely indifferent to without algorithms and autoplay.
