I love that nearly everyone interprets their cat’s meows the exact same way. Not just “I’m hungry, please feed me” but “I’m starving to death and have never eaten before, ever.”
“There’s still food in the bowl that you put in there thirty minutes ago, but now I can see the bottom.”
That food doesn’t count, and kitty is in imminent danger of wasting away right in front of our eyes.
It really seems that way, but many cats strongly dislike their whiskers rubbing against the side of the bowl.
