Other topics include a fan translation of Super Robot Wars 4 and a fan translation of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of the Great Duelist.
I was drawn in by the Blue Dragon coverage, since it’s a technically intriguing project with a lot of care put into it, but the Yu-Gi-Oh! patch was the hidden gem for me. I was impressed by the incredibly in-depth companion website for the patch—Yu-Gi-Oh! fans are sure to be delighted. The site itself is lovely and incredibly performant—apparently, the developer rolled their own static site generator. Also, if you’re interested in some of the process of making a fan translation patch, check out this blog post which walks through the process—it’s very noob-friendly, carefully explaining the terminology, so even if you’re not a programmer you should be able to follow it!
