I got a fancy oven for the first time. I didn’t know “self cleaning” mean running the oven hot as fuck to turn all the crap inside into ash. It’s a fucking crematorium 😂😂
Yup. Don’t use it though, it way stresses the oven and makes them break faster.

Haha same here. Smoke alarm goes off every time I use the oven.
The key is to slowly reclaim higher temperatures. I’ve been able to get mine back up to 470 with acceptably low smoke. One day I’ll be able to do a 500 degree pizza. (F obviously)
