I took some super easy college night courses just so I could sit on their network and download floppy after floppy of Doom WADs without spending my precious minutes.
One time in A-School I was stuck cleaning the same floor every day for like a week. Inside a building, lots of us kept our ball caps tucked into the back of our pants during the day. I ducked into a stall to sneak a nap, because labor for labor's sake is bullshit. While entering, I realized I needed a poop, so dropped trou and sat down. Did my business, then when I stood up noted with a sigh I not only forgot my hat had been tucked away...but I had pooped on it.
Can't flush it. Not gonna fish poopie hat outta the bowl to throw it away without gloves or something. So I left to see what I could find. 10mins later we have an all hands called by the base CO.
Apparently someone has made a terrible anti-Navy political statement. They have thrown a ball cap into a toilet and dropped a hefty dump right on top. The CO was livid. Especially once I immediately burst out laughing. Literally in tears at how stupid all of this is. He called me out and I explain exactly what happened in front of a building full of random sailors, who are all also laughing. He stomps off, I get a half-hearted beat down by my Chief, and life goes on.
Anyway, yeah sailors are dumbasses and there's a hundred reasons the plumbing is fucked. Wasn't me this time I promise.

I love these kinds of projects from original devs!
A few years ago I helped a bit beta testing a similar project for Star Fleet 2, and it was a blast to play through. Still play a lot of older games and it's always cool to be able to just click play and get back in there.
To whom? The US Attorney General? SCOTUS? This shit is raining down from the highest levels of government and nobody's been held accountable for breaking the law yet. 🤷♂️
There's a lot of VR chat communities that heavily self moderate that crap out so adults can actually enjoy games/social instances. This approach created a whooooole lotta Wild West space full of every IP stealing debauchery you can imagine, but like the early Internet also allowed for a ton of creativity and fun. Meta's approach was to try to simply not allow anything that would be inappropriate for anyone ever to sanitize for corporate sponsors, leading to a sterile and soulless waste of time.
Utterly shocked which one has regular users creating and exploring.
So far in my friend group it's just CoD, Destiny...forget the others. I don't play those but literally every game I do wanna play just works for the last few years. 🤷♂️
