The Federal Communications Commission announced July 28 that it has banned two new categories of devices: “Advanced robotic devices” and connected power inverters produced in foreign countries. According to the FCC, “robotic devices” includes mobile robots, such as humanoids and quadrupeds, and devices “capable of locomotion, obstacle avoidance, navigation, or movement on the ground.”

Yes, that means Roombas and other robot vacuums may be considered illegal if they’re produced outside of the United States of America.

I sure didn’t and I’m doing my best to reroute the anger that breaking my illusions created within me, into inspiration for learning reality instead of continuing to doomscroll and it’s definitely helping, but at the same time, the more I learn the more I become disappointed in humanity.

As far as I can tell, and at least for now, the only thing I’ve been able to reason for people who’ve had their own illusions broken is that you should help however you’re able to and find something you enjoy so much that dying at the moment you’re enjoying it wouldn’t make dying seem as bad.

I engage in the thing I love every time I feel like I’ve learned too many regretful things about humanity or in history and it refreshes my will to tap back into the anger and continue learning more.

This makes me smile. 💝I can hardly wait to get back into the mix. I hope I’m cleared for it, soon!

Clickbait titles are pretty well discouraged here. Although it’s normally not an issue if a description is provided and this post is missing that as well.

      Edit: added clarification about descriptions.

Yep! That’s a pretty apt description of the issue haha.

If someone wants to post an article with a clickbait title and doesn’t want to be downvoted in this community, they should either rewrite the title in a non clickbaity way or write a description to clear up the intentional ambiguity. At that point, it’s up to the reader to choose whether it’s worth their time to dive into the article for further details or not.
