There’s a reason the tricameral system got almost no traction globally. Divorcing the legislature from the executive was a dumb idea and Madison should be pillared for it, not celebrated.
As it combines political and economic models in a manner that favors the working class, rather than allowing one to dictate the other. And it builds real regional power, rather than off-loading authority to increasingly remote and alien state and federal institutions.
