It used to be you could find a box of photos or keepsakes that you inherited to look back on how things were or when you were a kid. Now, most of that is stored on phones, and most parents probably don’t think to share or save them in a way to be passed down in the future.

    Yeah, when my father died, there were a ton of old family photos, some were his, but others came from his parents or maybe even older than that. They were interesting to look through but no one really wanted them. I took some of them but they mostly just sit in a box now. Highly doubt my daughter will want them when I’m done, though maybe she will.

    Memories are nice when looking through them, but it’s not like I’m often worrying about things I don’t remember without a reminder.

    Though I should take more pictures of and with my daughter so she can have some memories. But I rarely even think about pulling out a camera most of the time.
