Rodriguez gives no date for vote despite pledging elections at UN
This is completely in line with the previous PSUV position. It’s not even a concession. They have always maintained that they have free and fair elections. She is the rightful legal successor to Maduro, and she is promising to uphold the existing democratic norms of her country. That she isn’t taking an outwardly hostile tone towards the nation which enjoys total military superiority over them during a diplomatic mission at the UN may come across as a betrayal to certain ultra-leftists in the US, but it would seem that the Chavistas in Venezuela do not share the same view.

The problem with this way of thinking is that it only benefits the most powerful, even though you claim to hate Trump and you claim to hate the US you’re effectively on their side by virtue of your total opposition to anything and everything else.
You need to shed this immaturity and join us in the real world. Shit’s not perfect and we’re fighting against something significantly more powerful with more resources than we have. This necessarily means conditions are limited. We live in struggle. Either struggle with those of us who are doing our best with the limitations we have or just admit that you’re on the side of the oppressor.
