They are really pretty sometimes but do not deserve the time spend dusting. Unfortunately clutter can take many other forms including things that seems useful but are not deserving our time or energy either.

Meadowlarks or Wood Thrushes TIL about those pretty birds.

The suddent change from noise and air pollutions must be appreciable. Scarcity sometimes shows us how things we considered normal can change for the better.
I’ve just read Freedom farmers: agricultural resistance and the Black Freedom Movement (Monica M. White). The french translation was just added to my town public library.
Do you guys read in English only or do you have Books in other language as well?

I use to think this way but after learning about decluttering method, I realised there was two different things :
So many people are saying decluttering and mean throw away but learning about decluttering made me change the way things enter my house much more that it help me get it of other. But the mind set of “it is wasted even if if is inside your wall” was a big realisation to me.

To me it means opting out of the hype cycles and rat races that the media pushes
I also find this important. These days in don’t watch anything recent in films and movies. I find old ones that are not talked anymore, I rewatch the one I already know and love and I’m really proud of how I decorrelated my media consumption from algorith recommandation. It made my live quieter, my watching experience more divers and less rushed. I still got a long way to go before optiong out the hype cycle but that’s a big win for me.

I’ve recently started a random Netflix movies about gladiators in Rome. The men were not shaved.

(You’re welcome!)
I find there is a need for digital minimalism in simple living. Or at least to not keep with the digital maximalism that is pushed to us in today society.
Guess what? I did proof read it but it seems like I forgot every I learn at school. I tried to correct myself and failed… I just deleted the whole thing. English is too hard and I’m not assuming anything.
Ans sometime it is also the grocerie. Not the avocado toast but the rebought avocado because the other ones grew old at the back of the fridge. The leftover going straight to the garbave even thought there is always a serving or two cooked extra. The little treats bought to ourselves every time we go out.
Still not people in poverty but people that can’t both never been bothered spending and build a emergency funds.

I hate YouTube. Why would someone start a “description” with an ad that has nothing to do with descripting the video? If you know decluttering, or simple living, content creators on the fediverse, please let me know.

That’s brave to keep a simple lifestyle when fame and money suddently come.
Really, the joys of life are very simple. Having a couple of cats around the house, a quiet life, dabbling in watercolors and woodblock printing . . .
He’s one of us (^_^)

I have mess things up even more. At this point, I fear that deleting the whole thing we’ll cause further troubles… Sorry. I’ll try to do something prettier next time.

I have messed up the title and have no idea how to edit it (-_-)
I was about to crosspost this to !superbowl@lemmy.world when I realised I was already there.

Idk if freshest food has the most vitamin but cooking depleted from a lot of it and could even depleted from minerals. I still eat cooked food.
