  • Classic Omni-Uncle paradox! If Uncle Ho is all powerful and all good, why did he allow reactionaries to exist? Such questions perplex many theologians.

  • I've read one comment from a Vietnamese netizen (translated): "Trump was so scared of the BRICS Bank, so they no longer create BRICS Bank, they create SCO Bank instead, How kind of them!"

  • China cannot convince the world to see the US as evil, only the US can.

Anyway, to put "42%" to the title, regardless of whether it's a fact, would make an alarmist headline. I wonder what is their intention.

  • It's "part Chinese" guys. It has a tendency for reactionaries. Similar to "part Cuban", "part Russian", "part Vietnamese", etc.

It's conformity to Western norm at first, then insecurity, then self-hatred, and then hate the country of origin. Not everyone is like that, but those that are are very eager to prove loyalty and conformity.

  • Sorry for late response. I don't want to risk spreading misinformation because of my hastiness.

I don’t have a great frame of reference for the reparations amounts to the farmers though, would you consider those fair?

I have found a Twitter thread that may explain many things: https://x.com/wrenevans217208/status/1954987545651204386

This guy seems to know more than me, you may ask him.

  • So in short, China doesn't have independent unions because there is no such thing as independent unions.

  • at what cost

I assume that Solar Panels made in China cost less than by the Yankees. They couldn't compete.

  • Why overcomplicate things? Can you imagine having to comply to different laws and regulations in different provinces? Add to that, now you have to deal with state level politics as well as federal politics. Imagine the nightmare!

China is a 5000+ years old civilization, and it is no coincidence that every dynasty tends towards centralization. Central brain is simply better.

  • we could blame it on the Cuban gusano diaspora, who prolly want to return Cuba to a more wretched, reactionary state.

Vietnam also have US collaborators who fled to the US. They want the same thing. But the US still trades with Vietnam despite their protests. So I don't think this is the reason.

you don’t appropriate US corporation assets and simply get away with it, as simple as it seems.

I see. Vietnam actually had to pay the US the money the puppet regime owed to the US to have them lift embargoes. Essentially paying our very invaders for killing our people, as unfair as it looks.

Well, when the US finally falls, the happiest people would be the Cubans and North Koreans.

  • I still don't understand why the US still continues to embargo Cuba to this day. Is it because they want to maintain "commies poor" narrative? But they still trade with other communist nations (China, Vietnam, etc). Is it because they want to create the condition for color revolution? If so, they should recognize that it didn't work and it will not work. Do they want to make a show of strength, the only thing a bully can think of? This show of strength would also serve as an indicator of weakness, for one day, Cuba will prosper, and the whole world would stop fearing the US. This action of the US will only antagonize the Cuban people and nation. In the grand scheme of things, it looks foolish.

  • You either misunderstood the sentence or misunderstood the purpose of the ShitReactionariesSay community.

  • Oh. I thought you were making jokes about bots. I guess redd*t libtalks have corrupted my mindset lol.

Anyway, I assume that $0.50 per person is equivalent to 125 billion VND per whole Cuban population, right? That was an outdated number 2 days ago. The latest figures is about 310.9 billion VND, which should be equivalent to $0.50 * 310.9/125.3 = $1.24 per person. I don't have an idea of how significant that is for the average Cuban though. But I don't think the Cuban government is going to just distribute it for everyone as cash, I expect them to add it to infrastructure development or maybe disaster reliefs.

  • /r/Vietnam is not the absolute worst apparently.

Other subs such as /r/TroChuyenLinhTinh and /r/VietnamNation contain some of the most delusional far-right terrorist-supporting crypto-fascists. The worst of the worst.

  • You joke like that but the USA and its NED actually sponsor reactionary organizations to do that. In Vietnam's case, there is a reactionary-terrorist organization called "Việt Tân". The languages used by some of these Redditors remind me of them.

Also, bot farm as a service is pretty affordable.

  • they really need to start shifting focus from doing business with the US.

And Vietnam is doing it. We signed many bilateral trade deals with China, Brazil, etc. We became a BRICS partner country. And more that I can't recall from the back of my head atm.

  • I don't think so. The AI he uses must have been fed exclusively MAGA sources, but given the sheer incompetence of MAGA people, it's unlikely.

  • Spectre and Meltdown proved that even chips can have backdoors. It's not some absolute backdoor that guarantee certain access, but it contributes to the overall security of the system, making it more susceptible to attacks.

I wonder how many zero-day security vulnerabilities were there by human negligence, how many were intentionally installed. I do know that there is an Israel business (forgot the name) who specializes in selling exploits of unpatched zero-day vulnerabilities to Western spy agencies.
