  • It is but a glimpse into how Zionists actually think. Let's not lose sleep over this. I don't know how to effectively counter Zionist and Western propaganda, I only know that the only way to shut them the fuck up is to defeat them in military and economically (they will not shut up even then, but at least they would be ridiculed).

  • No. No. No. The galaxy must be reformed and reorganized into the Galatic Empire. For a safe, and secure society.

(I bet these propagandists take history lessons from Star Wars too)

  • I personally don't like "they hate each other but they hate X more" or "they hate X but hate each other more" way of explaining things. It's way too simplistic, way too reductive, and as a Vietnamese, I kinda feel misunderstood and offended.

The general attitude of the Vietnamese people right now is cooperation. Our way to approach history is forgive but not forget.

We'd like to cooperate economically with developed nations in the West, but at the same time, we stay vigilant against Western attempts at subversion and color revolution.

Regarding China, there have been unfortunate grievances and conflicts between the 2 nations. But they are our neighbors. Even after 1000 years, we would still be neighbors. It's an unchanging factor. So the wise amongst us know it is better for the 2 countries to cooperate than to fight. There's a well-known Vietnamese proverb: "Bán anh em xa mua láng giềng gần". It means to trade far away brothers for close-by neighbors. Not to mention, the West is no brothers.

Anyway, this propaganda attempt by this Autralian channel has not backfired too spectacularly, but it certainly proved ineffective. I'm not sure if Vietnamese are their intended audience, but it certainly caught our attention. There have been other attempts too, such as one from a Taiwanese channel, the reactions from Vietnamese were overwhelmingly negative, the video got deleted quickly. They always try to use Vietnam as a pawn against China, and that annoys us.

  • I only use Firefox because Chrome is shitty where it counts (enshittified), but if I was to judge them poorly based on general UX, Firefox's is just horrible.

  • "Please live in abject poverty amongst the trees to protect us first world countries from global warming!" is the impression I get from these kinds of articles.

  • "Very successful" is just Trump's mouth. The damage is very minimal. The hearts of the facilities are very deep underground. Add to that, Iran had already evacuated everything 3 days before the attack.

I've seen one Vietnamese netizen speculated that it's all a show, that Trump has secretly notified Iran about the attack. Let's see if they're right by measuring Iran's retaliation against the US: If Iran would only fight with words, it would be proven.

  • He has to be obvious to his employer to get paid.

  • Well, Batman was vengeful, Bruce Wayne was philanthropic, but neither of which is revolutionary.

  • Is there a Lemmygrad's TOS that require you to hide their usernames?

  • Bot farms are pretty cheap for organizations such as the CIA. Actually, people like you and me can probably afford it. I haven't tried though.

  • He doesn't oppose Israel on principle, he only "opposes" it because Israel didn't provide enough support for his interest. It's not hate, it's just a weak ass blackmail that nobody (probably including himself) is going to take seriously.

  • People are motivated by material conditions, not theories. He won't change his mind unless his living condition changes.

  • Do we care about this sloptuber (Hero Hei) at all?

  • I don't know Chinese, but Chinese shows usually have 吾皇万岁!万万岁! ("Emperor" first, "long live" later). Note that 万岁 is reserved for the Emperor only, Emperor's relative will have lesser number (千岁, i.e. 1000 years as opposed to the Emperor's 10,000 years).

  • "万岁中国" looks weird, I see "中国万岁" more often ("long live" is usually after the subject)

  • I don't think fearing difficulty is a foresight. Neither is evading responsibility a revolutionary virtue. Difficult path requires careful preparation, this is true, but to avoid it entirely is defeatism. And revolutions don't come from defeatists.

Furthermore, I don't appreciate you accusing me of lacking empathy. This is disrespectful and it earns you the first downvote from me.

  • I don’t know you well enough go know if you’re a good person.

The "you" in my comment refers to you, not me. Do you believe you're a good person? Do you believe you are well-adjusted, mature, and sane? Do you think you can live amongst society?

I’m sorry to hear about the situation you grew up in, and I’m glad to hear you’re doing alright.

I'm not here to collect sympathy. And you really should stop saying that to every unfortunate person you met. (At least to Asians, I don't know if Westerners would think differently)

Make sure you have a decent chance first.

This, I agree. With the words, not the spirit. By that, I mean that a responsible person would improve their own material condition to make their goals achievable, then they would go ahead and achieve those goals, sooner or later.

  • If my parents thought like that, I wouldn't be here talking to you (my parents were very very poor). The comparison you made is poor/lame. You have absolutely no power over your chances of winning the lottery, but you have power over how you may teach your children. Your lack of knowledge can be fixed by discussing it with other parents (perhaps your own parents, they did raise a good person, wouldn't you agree?).

  • I see now the stark of contrast between civilizations. Whilst the developing world is hopeful and daring, the West is jaded and fearful. I understand that your material conditions and educations shape your thinking, but I absolutely do not support such absurd philosophy. Birthing a new life is giving them a chance to experience the world, how is it called gambling with innocent lives? If this is how Western communists think, then they need some serious self-reflection.
