We all laugh at the memes contrasting tech enthusiasts (my whole house is Smart!) with tech workers (newest piece of tech in the home is a printer from 1997, and there's a loaded shotgun trained on it in case it makes an unexpected noise).
My minimalist keyboard can also do anything I could possibly want it to do, I can remap the keys on the fly in a browser window, program hotkeys and macros to make my job easier, etc. I forget how many layers it supports, more than I'd ever need for sure. Of course there are full size keyboards with that shit too, but people like me with RSI can really benefit from a compact layout that minimizes finger reach. In my case it made a huge difference.
I've always been a pod-opener-seed-grinder when using cardamom in baking, are you doing cardamom infused fats in your recipes instead? Seems like a good idea and way less effort.
If you're making a stew or something then yeah throw those pods right in. For baked goods, smash the pods open and gather up the little black seeds, discard everything else and grind those seeds fresh just before adding to your recipe.
I once had a car with a broken cruise control switch, the catch mechanism broke or something and the button wouldn't stay pressed in. I wedged a penny in the gap next to the button after pressing it and that kept it in. Cheapest car repair ever, now that same fix would cost 10x smdh
