  • No the narrative used by the government, (which is what we're discussing here) is a story, not necessarily the truth. Nothing we've been told by the Biden government and other western governments is the truth. Nothing! Ukraine lost over a million soldiers. This is a terrible war, far worse than WW1. The reason peace is being discussed is only because if Ukraine doesn't sue for peace, there will not be any Ukraine left. It will be split up between Hungary, Poland and damn forget the other country offhand.

  • A narrative, by definition is NOT reality. Reasoning is what we use to interpret reality, and some have more of it than others.

  • You realize (I hope) that a narrative is a construct of the imagination? LOL, I have to laugh at the knobs in the media that use it as if that means accuracy.

  • Yeah the NYT has been so accurate on Ukraine /s

  • O OK. Thanks! News and learned Opinion go together, don't you think?

  • You think? Guess you're not up-to-date on Brexit, eh?

  • I don't understand why the downvotes, I'm not disagreeing with the premise of the article—just providing some context. ;-)

  • Oh I'm not denying that this is news, just giving context. Personally, I think it's time that this is done. For example, the Pentagon has never been audited!

  • It won't happen because the Russian's say that the G-7 isn't relevant anymore. It's the BRICs that is relevant, and the G-20. Canada shouldn't even be in the G-7 or the G-20. We're nobodies in world affairs.

  • @MyOpinion@lemm.ee LMAO What to be shot down? Get a grip, The US is dealing with a PEER power, not some rag tags running around is sandals with AKs. And the US can't even defeat them! LMAO

  • Tuta is a front for a western intelligence agency from what I understand. Came out in an espionage trial in Canada recently. It was in the news.

  • Mm maybe mid 60s.
