This really is a horror novel: I can't believe Mina tied herself down with that loser. Gog, that really is terrifying... how people's lives are ruined that way.... it's just abominable. The endless hellish days of bland nothingness.... the voice inside perpetually screaming that it didn't have to be this way...

In THE DRACULA POLYCULE, this would be a great time for Mina to snooze him with some opium and go out and see what the local cafes and pubs had to offer. Looks like a Hungarian art scene was just starting to get established. Maybe she could also get hubby a gimp suit.

I think Nemi isn't really as anti-learning as the first comic suggests; in fact she's a endless source of facts as in the second comic.

Also, note how the artist Myhre re-draws panels 4 and 5 in the second comic, instead of copy-pasting. I think these are earlier comics, possibly done without digital tools? although the background colors look like they might have been done digitally.

This is plainly true.

Whenever I read a statement like this, my BS detector fires up.

A 2014 study in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that test subjects who showed difficulty getting up off the floor without support of hands, or an elbow, or leg (what’s called the “sitting-rising test”) resulted in a three-year-shorter life expectancy than subjects who got up with ease.

I did a bit of judo and they made us get up without support. At first it was very difficult but after a bit it was pretty easy. I encourage you to try it, it's a good skill to have. (besides adding 3 years on your life, allegedly?)

Anecdotes are about as reliable as gurus, but anecdotally I find that there's bad squatting and good squatting. e.g. keeping knees and feet pointed out as in Sumo, is much easier on my knees than keeping knees and feet pointed forward as in Shotokan.
