Hunderttausende fordern in einem offenen Brief an Robert Habeck, er solle weiterhin Verantwortung übernehmen. In einer Zeit voller Krisen brauche es "Menschen - und noch wichtiger Führungspersönlichkeiten - wie dich", heißt es in der Beschreibung zu einer Online-Petition, die am Montag ins Leben gerufen und am Mittwochnachmittag (Stand: 17.00 Uhr) schon von mehr als 300.000 Menschen unterzeichnet wurde.

Habeck hatte nach dem schlechten Abschneiden seiner Partei bei der Bundestagswahl angekündigt, keine führende Rolle bei den Grünen mehr anzustreben. Am Mittwoch erklärte er in einem Video, dass er sein Bundestagsmandat annehme. Seine erste Reaktion nach der Wahl hatte Spekulationen ausgelöst, ob er auf sein Mandat verzichten könnte.

Mittragen von Waffenlieferungen an Israel und Saudi Arabien.
Gespaltene Haltung zum AfD-Verbotsverfahren, mit den "Realos" v.a. gegen ein Verfahren oder Verzögerungen.
Zusammen mit den Ampel-Parteien, Union und AfD zwei Resolutionen mit im Bundestag abgestimmt, die zum vermeintlichen "Kampf gegen Antisemitismus" massive Eingriffe in die Freiheit der Wissenschaft und Kunst fordern, u.a. durch geheimdienstliche Überwachung von Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern, Definition von Antisemitismus im Sinne der israelischen Regierung per Gesetz an Stelle eines wissenschaftlichen Diskurses. In den Resolutionen u.a. keine Erwähnung des Nazi-Terroranschlags auf die Synagoge in Halle, dafür aber die Berlinale 2024, weil die Macher der Doku "No other land" klare Worte auf der Bühne gefunden haben.
Keine Aufarbeitung der "Fördermittelaffäre" von Stark-Watzinger (FDP) unter Interims-Bildungsminister Özdemir. Stattdessen weiter Redeverbot für die eheamlige Staatssekretärin, die von Stark-Watzinger als Bauernopfer geopfert wurde...
Auf zahlreichen Landesebenen Unterstützung für den Einsatz von "predictive policing"-Tools, u.a. "Palantir".
Auf Landesebene aber auch im Bund Vernachlässigung von Klima- und Umweltschutz zu Gunsten von Industrieunternehmen.

Bei den benannten Punkten geht es dann nicht nur um die Haltung "linker Revoluzzer", sondern um fundamentale Fragen der Grundrechte und Menschenrechte. Die Grünen haben zuletzt einen Kurs getragen, der massiv in die Grundrechte eingreift, und dabei im besonderen Maße in die Grundrechte von Menschen, die nicht "biodeutsch" sind.

Dazu kommt auch, dass mehrere Vorstände der grünen Jugend im Herbst 2024 ausgetreten sind, weil die Partei ihnen zu weit nach rechts gerückt ist.

Klar kann man sagen, dass die Grünen zusammen mit der "Mitte" nach rechts gerückt sind. Allerdings sind das auch Wechselwirkungen, womit die Grünen eine Mitverantwortung für den Rechtsruck tragen und Teil des selben sind.

Ich weiß nicht so recht, was ich davon halten soll. Einerseits gibt sich Habeck "einsichtig", andererseits eiert er bei der Frage, ~~warum er sein Versprechen von vor der Wahl bricht und den Bundestag verlässt~~, sowie der Frage, ob er wieder zur Karrierepolitik zurückkehren könnte, ziemlich rum.

Ich bekomme dadurch insgesamt das Gefühl, dass Habeck aktuell sein Winterlager außerhalb der deutschen Politik auffschlägt, und darauf hofft, in ein paar Jahren unter besseren Bedingungen für sich selbst zurückkehren zu können.

Die Darstellung der Grünen als "ehemalige Protestpartei" die Habeck im Sinne einer liberalen Demokratie "zur Mitte", also nach rechts, gerückt hätte, finde ich auch daneben. Die Grünen waren bereits vor 25 Jahren in einer Bundesregierung und sind seitdem in zahlreichen Landesregierungen gewesen bzw. weiterhin Koalitionspartner.

Damit wurde auch nicht der behauptete Gegenpol zur AfD geschaffen, sondern die AfD in ihrem Rechtsextremismus bestätigt. Das liegt natürlich nicht nur an den Grünen, sondern wurde vom gesamten Parteispektrum mit "Mitte"-Ambitionen vorangetrieben, vor allem durch die CDU/CSU.

Viele Wählerinnen und Wähler die den Grünen 2025 den Rücken gekehrt haben, haben das erkannt. Das "Angebot" war eben doch nicht so "top".

Problem is i don't want to clog up my SSD and i often am too lazy to plug it in. But i have been listening to a lot of songs i haven't archived yet and risk losing with the digital platforms failing me sooner or later.

Belarus already is sanctioned. Humanitarian duties are not dependent on who is responsible. It is the legal obligation of Poland and the EU to provide for these people. It is equally their legal obligation not to torture them, push them back across the border or in some cases kill them.

Belarus cannot scale up these operations indefinitely and it would be comparable easy for the EU to deport people back to Iraq or other countries of origin, if it is found that they are not at a danger in those countries. They are undeniably at danger in the "death zone" between the border fences.

In the current situation Putin and Lukashenko get exactly what they want. They can show to the world that the EU countries are criminals, who give fuck all about human rights and international law when it doesn't fit their larger political goals. Furthermore it helps keeping the narrative of refugee "crisis" going, which helps the Russian backed Fascists like the AfD, Front National and the like. By simply not making it a crisis, it wouldn't be a crisis, but the deep rooted Racism in the "middle" of many EU countries pushes them to imagine a crisis and help the Fascists. They also know that this helps the Fascists but they keep doing it, because less Racism and more human rights is seen as worse than a Fascist takeover.

Meanwhile countries like Poland, Germany, France, Italy and others are running into a demographic crisis. They urgently need younger people. By reinforcing the hatred towards migrants and refugees, Russia also helps maintain the EU to get weaker demographically. A problem Russia is facing at an unprecedented level themselves, now that they send their young men to die in Ukraine by the hundreds of thousands.

While there is hundreds of UAVs being shot down daily according to these graphics, the number of aircraft and helicopters is barely increasing over the past two months.

6 Aircraft and 3 Helicopters since 25.06.2025 but more than 11,000 UAVs.

Does this indicate a shift in the material used by Russia, are they running low on the manned vehicles, is Ukranian air defense now reliable to deter them, or is the air defense exhausted and cannot shoot them down regularly anymore?

This would be funny, if it wouldn't be used to justify torturing and murdering people.

The people have been lied to by Belarus. Now they are trapped between the Polish side and the Belarusian side. Both force them them back into the "death zone" where there is no food and water. People detail cruel abuse and torture by both sides.

When people try to register that they are seeking Asylum legally at the border guards, they are denied. Poland is criminally denying the people the chance to legally apply for Asylum, thereby the only options left are dying or trying to enter and make it through Poland. Forcing people into "illegality" to then use that claimed "illegality" as a justification for abuse or even murder is a standard Fascist/Authoritarian tactic.

The idiots are those, who defend brutal crimes against humanity arguing it would prevent the far-right. Actually it means the Fascists win by getting their policies pushed through without even being in the government. Then this normalizes their even further fascist positions and makes them even more "electable". However if the "center" turns criminal, fueled by racist hate and employing crimes against humanity on a mass scale, they themselves also become like the Fascists.

So even if it was 170,000 that would amount to 0,4% of the Polish population and then there is Germany, France and other high population EU countries that could have easily helped house and process the people. Not making it a crisis would have long stopped the procedure alltogether, but Poland wanted to make it a crisis for reasons of Racism. By doing so Poland is working together with Russian and Belarus.

People may be aggressive to the Polish soldiers, because the Polish and Belarusian soldiers are working together to abuse, torture and push the people around.

When it comes to abusing and torturing "brown people" Polish and Belarusian border agents seem to be on the same side.

So the only option people have is to push through somehow and hope that they manage to make it far enough that Poland isn't illegally deporting them back into the "death zone". There is a reasonable chance that the soldiers you know are criminals, who should face a court and likely a long if not lifelong prison sentence. But when it comes to crimes against humanity at the borders, the EU is enabling such criminal practices. Again this is serving the interests of Putin and Lukashenko.

In 2024 alone, 17,000 people entered the EU illegally through Belarus — three times more than in the year before.

It is in the article and in the excerpt in the post. For reference, Poland has a population of 37.6 Million people. So that is 0,04% relative to the population of Poland. So for every 2,200 people living in Poland, there was one person coming "illegally" through the border from Belarus.

While the insidiousness of the Russian/Belarusian tactic is without a doubt, we should not forget that the European countries, in particular Poland and Germany happily jumped onto making it a "crisis", despite 17,000 people a year is a laughably small number of people.

If the Center and Right in many countries didn't do their hard turn to the Right and Far-Right/Fascism, the whole plot would have backfired on Putin and Lukashenko.

Very few people need a truck like yours. They need one guy in their friend group with a truck like yours who they can ask for a favor every couple years.

Or just get a rental for that day, unless they live in the middle of nowhere. But in the latter case they will know someone with that type of truck for sure.

Notizblöcke sind Verbrauchsgegenstände. Messer nicht.

Wenn ich auf Messen o.ä. die Notizblöcke, Kugelschreiber usw. mitnehme, muss ich mir keine eigenen kaufen, und irgendwann brauch ich die mal und das sind sie verbraucht.

Ich habe aber schon ein Obstmesser, seitdem ich meinen eigenen Haushalt habe. Und sofern es nicht bei einem Umzug verloren geht, werde ich es voraussichtlich bis an mein Lebensende haben. Ich brauche kein weiteres Obstmesser.

Specifically the person got raided on a wrong address, so actually his ex partner and child got raided, the raid came after the owner of the twitter account already had identified himself to the police and admitted to the "crime".

There was absolutely no possible investigative reason for the raid. It was purely meant to intimidate someone for an insuot that is rather mild in German language

Ich betrachte es aus Sicht von Armut:

Glaubt die CDU, dass die Anwohner keine Obstmesser zu Hause haben/sich die nicht leisten können?

Das ist so ein Gegenstand, den man einmal für ein paar Euro kauft, und dann ein paar Dekaden, wenn man selber schleift ein Leben lang, im Haushalt hat.

Feuerzeuge, Gummitiere, Notizblöcke o.ä. sind zumindest Verbrauchsgegenstände.

Depends on what you want to do. Wood buildings have more limits in terms of height and structural load. But wood usually means much lower emissions and easier recycling of the building. Of course fire safety is another issue. In comparision to steel, wood does surprisingly well, as a thick wooden column can be burning on the outside, but maintain its load bearing capability on the inside. steel transmits the heat to its inside quickly and looses its stability faster.
