  • My wife was prescribed one of those for her diabetes, and the insurance company STILL wouldn't cover a dime. She was able to find a coupon for a three month supply for $350.

    But yeah, I totally agree. There would have to a huge increase in pet pigs before it got to the same level as eating dog.

    I hear they are very smart and make great pets, but I imagine most people would prefer something fluffier.

    The thought was if Christians didn't eat pork, they would look down on people who do. Since you mentioned that there already is a religious group that didn't eat pork, I asked if they do what OP assumes porkless Christians would do

    If they do, then OP is in to something, if they don't, then there's no reason to think Christians would act differently.

    If it's a community dedicated to celebrating genocide, then it wouldn't make sense to remove pro-genocide comments.

    I'm not saying that community should exist, or that I would want to join it, but the behavior matches the community.

    Likewise, if it is a community to share knock knock jokes, and someone posts a rant about Israel committing genocide, that should probably be removed. Not because the mod is pro Israel, but because that's not the place for those posts.

    I was asked to mod a community because they didn't have one, and someone noticed that I participated in it quite a bit. Honestly, I rarely do anything. Once a month or so, someone will report something and I look at it. Most of the time the complaint is "I don't agree with this." And I don't do anything about it. Other times, it's spam, ads, or offensive insults. I remove those immediately.

    There are assholes in every aspect of life. Some mods abuse their power, some posters feel entitled to be heard regardless of context, and everybody else is somewhere in the middle.
