    AO3 is down

  • comrade, please only do this if you absolutely have to. the UK has completely eliminated rabies, so the government is extremely uptight about importing dogs. if your animal ends up in quarantine, it will be kept there for 4 months. they are legally allowed to put your animals down. the fact that they're pitbulls is not the main problem (although yes that is also likely to be a problem), it's bringing a dog into the country at all.

this is the government website on it. technically there are rules you can follow if they've had all their immunisations etc, but personally i wouldn't trust the gov with my dogs if i had anyway to avoid it.

EDIT: actually, now i notice that you cannot bring banned dog breeds into the country at all, and pit bulls are among them. you can apparently get an exemption, but i have no idea how long that would take or how reliable it would be.

  • yeah, i think you're most likely to find us in c/furry 🐾

  • food @hexbear.net

    complete noob cooking?

  • congrats to 32 chunk! i was worried about him at the begining of the season when he turned up with his dodgy jaw. but he started off about as fat as some other bears finish, so he had time to recover and i'm glad to see him thriving now <3

still PISSED that my beloved 602 scubadoo and the 910/909 duo and grazer all got knocked out. but. whatever i guess

  • i saw the ads for this and was so hyped that these freaks were getting rich idiots to pay for jewelery with points of failure. impeccable

  • exploding everyone that didn't vote for my beloved 602 scubadoo with my mind rn

  • maybe this is the dyslexia speaking, but i really think that spelling and being able to comprehend a text are two skills of massively different importance. relying on spell check and/or phonetic estimations can serve you perfectly fine in almost all situations and changes nothing, whereas being functionally illiterate makes your life more hollow

  • yeah i have a friend who was (at the time) undiagnosedly majorly depressed, so he just idly floated along when his family pushed him into compsci for the money. he struggled through a degree he hated in a topic he wasn't passionate about to wind up in an industry that can't even employ him. i know a lot of compsci grads. shits bleak

  • no, i do that to be fair, i think anyone who has lived their entire life metric does, and in fact google and a lot of unit converters do the same. it's natural and not techinally incorrect to say 5.9 feet if you mean 5 feet and 9/10s of a foot

  • i never throught i'd have to say it but EXTREMELY critical support for coldplay

  • based. this is how we get the boomers speaking maoist standard english

  • BASED BASED BASED BASED. this is genuinely my career plan. i'm starting my phd in a month and my first priority will be seeing if i can weasel my way into a manderin class

  • This is the exact reason i install mint and it's surprisingly straight forward. the hardest part was backing all my shit up first. all of the actual linux stuff has been completely fine

  • it sucks that someone is being sexually harassed but hopefully grok finally pissing off someone with infinite money and infinite lawyers Starts Some Shit

  • (not to sexually harass famous women btw, but for furry reasons. idk if its a 'valid' motivation but it certainly works!)

  • well the military and police are hurting the right people (foreign, brown, commie, etc), so that's completely different

  • makes sense. zionists are prioritising material conditions over correct doctrine, same as how if a politician were running on socialising the means of production but saying dumb shit about 'patriotism' or whatever, we'd still be in favour. this is objectively the correct take for a zionist to have. honestly i can kind of admire the practicality, in a strange way
