  • I live outside of a large city and would be commuting into it. Wanting to live kinda rural and work in tech was not a good idea, but I'm in too deep now. -_-

  • In in the same boat as you, right down to the industry. Except I'm in the US and I'm only experienced enough to be a level 2 tech.

I have a friend tracking down a hybrid position lead at his company, but the commute for the in person days would be 1.5 hrs at least one way. He's going to be seeing what the pay is and how many days I'd need to be in the office so I know if it'd be worth it. I don't want to waste my time and the time of his coworkers if the pay and schedule wouldn't be right.

  • My workplace had become super toxic and I'm desperate for another job, but the market is abysmal. I'm hoping for a miracle, because I want out of my current job asap

  • Thank you! Congrats as well!

  • My deeply red town elected all democrats into positions of power. My entire COUNTY flipped from red to blue on Tuesday. I was absolutely floored. I'm feeling hopeful for the first time in years

  • Me when I got back into horses after 13 years.

Send help, I have an addiction for grooming supplies. I own like 4 stiff bristle brushes.

  • Ty! It's the changing of the seasons. It gets me every time, esp when it gets colder. It'll take a couple weeks to adjust.

  • I'm already looking for a better job. My current job is so goddamn toxic. It's hard because the market for my kind of work is ABYSMAL. I have all of my friends asking their employers for things and I'm considering taking up an easy part time gig on weekends if I can get back in with the nonprofit I worked for in college

  • I've been making plans to go out and help the cause. It's been hard because I'm barely surviving with the income I make and my health has been pretty bad. I do remind everyone I know to vote and I provide information on things to those people so they can make informed decisions. I'm going to look into online stuff that I can do to help and I'm going to the next No Kings thing

  • Pennsylvania. My town is specifically in a rural part of SW PA.

Looks like my entire county flipped!

I'm hopeful for the first time in a looooong time.

  • My town voted in all dems for positions of power and I've never been more surprised

  • My deeply red town voted in all dems for positions of power. I've never been more surprised.

  • You took the words right from my mouth! I didn't have the best childhood and it's left me pretty jaded. I hope all kids get to have what I didn't

  • My deeply republican town just voted in all democrats into position of power tonight. Looks like a lot of other places in my state had the same happen. I'm feeling hope for the first time in years.

  • No, I was just wrong

  • Name a more iconic duo than Jake and Nog

  • I'm never going to be a parent and I can only tolerate kids in small doses, but I do know that if a small child hands you something even remotely phone-like, you answer that shit.

  • She is! She's finally considered not overweight! She's also gaining muscle, which I didn't expect!

Moving her was such a good idea. She's thriving!
