What if instead of masked fighters they were Lunchadores and they all sat down to enjoy a lvoely midday meal together

  • Such a good movie. Every film should have a fifteen minute wrassling fight scene in a back alley

  • So he ripped off my chick ass line, what a hack

(I know who duke nukem is just am pretending not to for the bit, thanks tho :))

  • The kicker is that Alyssa is really popular on Chinese social media too, they thought that despite the fact the degree of difficulty of the moves she pulled off in her routine didn't approach those of the Russians, that the choreography and energy far surpassed them. There's no salt from the Chinese side afaict

  • If it's camera on, a tip I received is to look at the camera itself, not at the screen, that gives the impression of eye contact for the viewers on the other end (who are likely the type to take eye contact as a positive indication of confidence/neurotypicality)

If you get a question that you don't have an answer for, feel free to say "Thanks for the question, do you mind if I take a moment to consider my response? I want to give you the most relevant, concise answer possible"

Or, if their question is vague, feel free to probe for more detail e.g. if they ask about "Tell us about a time you had to deal with a difficult person"

You could say "Thanks for the question, would you find it more useful to have an example of an incident with a customer, or an interpersonal relationship with a colleage? Because this is a customer-facing role, I'll address your question with a customer-facing example first, but let me know if the other would be useful too"

Basically, if you can turn it into a more natural back and forth, rather than just question/response, then it can open up the interview into being more like a 'conversation', and you can frame or reorient your responses as you need when you get more info and context.

The ability to do so in and of itself may be taken positively, whether or not it actually addresses your technical proficiency or qualifications for the role.

(As an analogy if you were trying out as a barista, the trial shift would most likely focus on making coffee and POS, and not explicitly customer service, but if you can demonstrate customer service/personability during the trial (interview) it reassures them that you'll be a good 'fit')

  • No way lmaoooo how is it so blatant

  • It is no different from a mushroom cloud, while the manner of death is slower acting it is just as insidious, but there's barely a whisper in the news here about this environmental and human catastrophe carried out over a city of ten million people. I feel hollow looking at that image. If there's no outcry at this, there will be none for the nuke. The collective West does not see Iranians as people.
