  • hillary clinton... welcome to the resistance

  • real, i was tricked into "playing" a "game" of multiplayer stellaris once

mostly involved me staring at my reflection on my dark ahh screen while 1/67th of a match played over the course of 3-4 hours

never again, i'd rather be blasting a skaarj lord in unreal 98'

  • don't forget to cut out each letter individually from magazines with different fonts and then glue them together onto the page

  • Yeah it's good, I think people are confusing obtuse ability description -> bad translation, I'm sure the owl's heart of the cards gambling paragraph is just as hard to parse in the original writing

Only problem I've had is I started playing the new season and the main seasonal mechanic tooltip was in chinese and I was like "damn alright then lmao"

I think it was patched literally like three hours after the update so I was just early

  • wish more games had a dedicated catchphrase button like Deep Rock ⛏️🎅

  • I played a bit of the demo during the Steam Nextfest, it was really fun. I appreciate that it also has the run and gun segments alongside the ship combat, it makes it feel more well rounded compared to similar games like Void Crew

  • haven't played too much, but I played the first like hour of The Lonesome Guild, nothing groundbreaking so far (ARPG with persona-esque campfire scenes) but it's fun and cute, and it scratches that PMD itch narrative/graphics wise with royalty free furries

  • if you're on windows you can cheese it by using the alt-0160 shortcut, it generates a no-break space that's read as a character by html instead of a space, I think in linux it should be ctrl+shift+U->00A0?

anyway once you make one of them or copy it from this comment you can ctrl-c and ctrl-v it for ease of use for the rest of time

For instance: One Space. Two Space.  Three Space.       bazinga                        fuck     shit           lmaooo                                poop

  • i've had a rough week and it warmed my heart to see this comment, thanks comrade

  • if you genuinely hate the slop comm this much, maybe don't moderate it?

like people just want a place to vent and have mutual catharsis together in one of the few spaces on the internet they think they can, even if that doesn't align with your ideals of what you think the space should be

unless this is just tongue and cheek thing with an admin badge on in which case my bad

  • voting for this not bc i want the dunk comms gone, but because i want to relitigate the dunkgate of 2024 and make it a yearly event like WrestleMania

  • this 100% but i suppose we're slop pigs now

i had to smh at the last dunkmetapost when we had an admin say that "dunk" terminology is racist, like way to misunderstand the entire reason for changing the name from dunk_tank. like nobody and i mean literally not a single soul on the entire planet or any other place in the galaxy is referring to dunk tanks when they say "dunk on 'em"

  • for sure, the xenofiction enemies-to-lovers plot instantly puts it head and shoulders over every other campaign

  • it's nice to hear Michael Salvatori seems to be chill and holy shit those are some 🔥songs, it's a shame I usually only see o'donnell brought up when people talk about the Halo soundtracks.

  • i don't think so, unless you count ex-cast member android nathan fillion lmao

actually wait nvm i think they added some white CIA guy time traveled into the future from the 60s in the new expansion nobody played

  • based lmao, i brought pirated copies of Halo CE and UT2004 to the school library, used to play that shit with a bunch of other people for like 2-3 years before they finally locked that shit down senior year

  • he's been a fucking creep piece of shit for a looong time

  • if it makes you feel any better, michael salvatori is heavily underrated and also a huge part of the halo soundtracks, for instance he personally composed the menu theme to halo 2/3 which o'donnell originally turned down and said it had no place on the soundtrack

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUu0Uf8z8Rw

and while salvatori hasn't been like publicly cool or an ally or anything, he did work with ella feingold for almost all of the destiny game soundtracks, and for all of bungie and destiny's problems it's probably one of the most LGBTQ+ positive FPS game franchises of all times, like legit by the end of the last release a third of the main cast were all some form of gay/trans, and it had an onscreen gay bald guy -> android husband kiss
