  • The problem is I've been diagnosed with a folate deficiency and the folic acid supplements aggravate my bladder terribly. I thought I would get extra folate by eating extra veg but the gastric symptoms it gives me are too bad. My tingling and pins and needles are getting worse and I'm really scared about it because it seems there's nothing i can do, and the GP is so useless, she just tells me to take the folic acid anyway.

  • From my point of view as a disabled person, they are worse than nazis. At least the nazis admiited that they wanted to exterminate disabled people and often just gassed them to death quickly. The UK now gaslights the disabled, telling us we aren't really disabled and there is "some work" we can do, stops our benefits leaving us to starve to death slowly, and blames those who die of this, saying "thERe iS sO MUch HeLP oUt THerE, You sHOuLD hAVe TrieD HarDer To AcCEss IT." They want us dead and out of the way but are too cowardly to come right out and admit it. I'd rather be quickly killed than this long slow torture.

    I'm just worried if they know I still have the occasional half-hearted period they might be less likely to do a hysterectomy. I've read so many stories about women being forced to live with terrible womb-related issues because doctors are more concerned with preserving female fertility than improving female quality of life.

  • I thought my periods had totally stopped. Haven't had one in months but today one started again. Guess I haven't gone through the menopause then. Still want a hysterectomy though.

    Today on reddit someone said "After a nuclear war you and the rest of the survivors are running out of food due to a low yield harvest. One person suggests exile all disabled people to the cold wastes to die, another suggests abortion of current pregnant mothers. Other choices are a lottery to decide who dies, or do nothing. What would you rather do?"

    They overwhelmingly voted to exile all the disabled people to die.
