  • I wish I had an answer for you, |I could use one too.

  • I got permanently banned from reddit for calling someone a child molester because he said he likes to f underage kids because they're so much hotter than adults. He did not get banned for saying that.

  • One of the things I hate so much about redditors is no matter what the issue, their answer is always "GEt tHEraPy." And if you don't then your issues are your own fault. No thought at all that some people can't afford therapy, or live in a country where they get really shitty therapy from the state or in a country where they just have literally no access to it at all. Just this belief that everyone can access great therapy that's always guaranteed to work. And that all problems can be solved by therapy. I mean, if you're dying of cancer or starving to death in the street that can be solved by therapy, right?

  • OK thanks for this suggestion. We tried this and although we couldn't find the bottle cap, this did pull out so much other gunk that the problem has improved, at least enough to actually use the shower.

  • We've been quoted £150. I did make a mutual aid post but there is a problem. I'm now within the 6 months before they check my accounts (assuming I win my appeal). That means I will have to explain anything going into my accounts now. It will look more suspicious having lots of small donations. If I could get one person to donate the full amount I could pass it off as an early xmas/bday present from a relative. But I guess I'm unlikely to get the full amount from one person.

  • Thanks for the bump

  • Thank you. Honestly everything is really getting on top of me right now. It's just never ending, worsening problems. I'm so worried about the tingling in my hands, legs and feet, it's now constant, really bad and I have no idea if it's the deficiency or something else and the GPs aren't interested in trying to find any other cause. All the supplements I'm given make me sick as a dog, the endless stress of the benefit appeal and having to beg for food, and now a really badly blocked drain which we can't afford to fix and is preventing me from showering and washing my hair. Honestly if I could just press a button to instantly end my existence I would.

  • It's a bottle cap an also with me and my landlady both being disabled it's hard to do things that involve bending or squatting down. I think it's gone quite far down too.

  • It was a bottle cap

  • Thanks for the tip. I'm due to have a vitamin D injection to see if thats any better but if that's awful too I will consider trying D2.

  • bump amber whataboutism volcel police

  • Thanks for the bump.

  • I haven't been active the past couple of days as I haven't been feeling well. I was diagnosed with a vitamin D deficiency ages ago but stopped taking the pills as they were giving me headaches. I realised the other day this vitamin D deficiency could be contributing to my numbness and tingling, so i took a dose. It has given me the migraine from hell for the past couple of days. No migraine meds work on it. It dies down briefly then comes back. The universe hates me, I can't even do anything to help myself.

  • I'm resigned to the fact that I'll never get proper care.

  • Thank you.

  • Yeah some people could eat whatever they want but choose to ruin their health with junk food and no vegetables, it's just mad to me.

  • Being able to walk around a bit now I've been walking down to the beach, it's just at the end of the road and so good to get out there again.

  • I've had IBS for ages, although it was quite recent that I realised that a lot of vegetables were aggravating it. Wind and loose stools being the main symptoms of that, and caused by many different veggies. And the veggies that don't trigger the IBS trigger migraines and bladder irritation. The only ones I can eat without any bother are potatoes, carrots and spinach, although apparently spinach can cause kidney stones so I'm hesitant to eat it more than twice a week. It's just an awful way to live, I would love to be vegan and eat lots of vegetables, I wanted to do Dr Joel Fuhrman's Eat to Live diet but it's out of the question.

I don't think the folate is doing anything to the fibroids, according to google, unmetabolised folic acid gets into your bladder and irritates it, so that's probably the issue with that.

  • Yeah i got zero points at my last assessment, despite being a partially sighted cancer and stroke patient with major mobility problems and chronic, severe migraines. If it wasn't for mutual aid here I would have starved to death by now.

Repost - stroke patient still needs help paying for physiotherapy. I'm a prisoner without it.
