Okay, sure. We can talk about that if we can also talk about prosecuting the corrupt members of the current court. Especially fat boi Thomas.

Impeaching them may also resolve the need to expand the court. This should definitely be the 1st step taken.

This is by far the more difficult of the 2 steps. You gonna have 60 senators vote to impeach him?

Or are you going to take the 1st senate/house majority and end the filibuster and expand the courts?

We should expand the court regardless. It’ll make it more resilient to future packing, and the current court is overdue for it. For much of America’s history, there were as many Supreme Court justices as there were federal court circuits, as they each presided over one. There are now 13 circuits and 9 Justices.

Easy. 330 million. Everybody is a scotus justice. “Oh no, we can’t do that!” Why the fuck not? Everything becomes a popular vote, direct democracy referendum? Sounds great. “The people need leaders”? Bullshit. The “leaders” have had their chance and they’ve led us to ruin. “The people will be manipulated into voting wrong!” And that’s different from corrupt politicians how? At least my way requires a majority to be duped and not just a handful of people to be bought.

I’m kidding, but I’m also kinda not.
