Because I’ve talked to people who say things like that and it just makes me lose my faith in humanity a little 
But I have to remind myself that this tagline is some western Marxist (or maybe socdem?) verbal diarrhea and isn’t common among the people who matter
Fully agree. I recently switched from youtube to freetube originally as part of my general degoogling plans, but i have noticed that not being sucked into endless streams of algorithmically sorted shorts has saved me a ton of time i could spend on other things, be they productive or be they more conscious and deliberate media consumption.
