I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but we do have roving bands of murder cops who decide who to kill on a whim. We have literal gangs who hunt down and murder people for fun in our largest and most liberal cities, and cops from small towns are somehow even more terrifying. It is absolutely tone deaf to think our cops are a gotcha against any country.
If anything, the most disappointing thing about China is how well they seem to be following our playbook. Most of the evil things they do were done worse by America, and with everything in China that is genuinely worse than the US, we’re quickly catching up. You cannot whataboutism China as an American; the US isn’t even the winning side anymore.
No, the police are not “murdering people for fun.” The cops ARE shooting people when it’s not justified, and getting away with it. The way you’re describing it is like it’s out of a movie or something.
