We went to the Alphonse Mucha exhibit at the Nelson Atkins!

This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.
TIL: Mucha came up with Wolverine. Next thing you know, he invented early SpongeBob.
Let’s go with inspired.
Nice! Alphonse Mucha is one of my favourite illustrators (another is Henri Privat-Livemont, who was heavily influenced by Mucha).
I planted three more plants outside so I’m tired and taking a nap. I’ll make a chicken sheet pan thing again for dinner then sleep even more. Tomorrow is either the Asian supermarket or a home depot. Maybe both. Probably not both.
Omg is that Wolverine on the right??? It makes me do my happy nerd dance when I see exhibits highlight the influence historical movements have had on modern things 🤩
It is!
