What is like a one sentence difference between the two?
Social democrats want some social elements in a capitalist mode of production, democratic socialists want socialised ownership of the means of production but are only willing to use bourgeois elections to achieve it.
In practice, there’s no difference between social democrats and democratic socialists.
And the very name basically slanders other socialists as inherently anti-democratic.
