This calls for wisdom: let anyone with understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a person. Its number is six hundred sixty-six.
If culture associates it with opposition to religion and/or a theatrical performance of wickedness, that is more salient than scriptural numerology proving that the actual diabolical number is 616 or whatever.
