I always thought that planes would unload much faster if people let the left side go four rows or so ahead so then we have two people collecting things in the aisle at a time instead of one. Or, even more efficient, let people in seat C all get off as one unit, then D, then B, etc.
There’s no way we would ever organize the absolute animals that take airplanes enough to ever see such a thing though. Any time they say “please stay seated for people with tight connections” I see a bunch of people immediately stand in the aisle and cause a jumble.

Checked luggage… so that they can get at the bag carousel faster and wait even longer? I think you mean let people with no carry-ons off first.
