I’m anime-only at the moment, and it was a bit of a slow start for me, but I’m five episodes in and totally hooked! Will definitely check out the manga after this season.
I read the first volume on Monday and thought it was really cute, love the entire vibe of it. It’s very whimsical, it’s like if Harry Potter was good

I really want to get back to reading this and watching the anime! Lesson learned that I am not letting r/manga influence my opinion again.
If you haven’t started the anime check it out, it drops off a BIT but the first episode animation is mind blowing
Not to be a snob, but the manga is much better than the anime. The artwork is really something else and in my opinion some of it unfortunately got washed out in the anime adaptation. There’s nothing wrong with starting with the anime obviously, but consider switching to reading the manga whenever you feel like it.
I started with the manga, so I am definitely going back and rereading it from the beginning but I do want to check out how the anime adaptation is going.
