that is part of the issue. not only they don’t want to negotiate, they don’t understand negotiating. they are removeds, if you are strong they push you if you are weak they push harder. anything besides this was not a realistic option. the first time hormuz was declared open IRGC immediately closed it because trump tweeted thanks but the blockade will stay, so hopefully if any violations happen they will use their leverage again.
