This is a wild development. None of the previous Grey’s characters are near Texas AFAIK and none of those who left recently are going to Texas. The article mentions none of the characters are expected to appear.
Catherine Fox is the only character still on the show that could reasonably appear, but I just don’t see her as someone going that way. Maybe she buys/takes over a failing hospital and appoints someone to run it in the first episode?
Bailey has a potential plotline of becoming an administrator, so maybe they scrap the schooling part and just throw her to Texas? Seems unlikely.
I’m guessing they introduce a character this next season who then leaves and goes to Texas.
Maybe the team from 911 Lone Star can do a crossover. Will there be earthquakes and volcanoes?
