Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) on Wednesday accused the Democratic base of becoming “increasingly anti-American” amid calls against U.S. military intervention in Venezuela, Iran and Cuba.

There should be 0 elected officials who can’t be recalled. Call it the Fetterman-Sinema rule.

Agree, but you gotta be careful with the implementation. Republicans have caused havoc before by trying to recall an elected official that had pretty much no chance of actually getting recalled. In the end it just wasted a bunch of taxpayer money and distracted the official from actually doing their job.

I say you’re allowed one recall election per term, the process must be started by the state party organization (e.g. Democratic Party of Pennsylvania) or by petition if independent, and the election must coincide with another general election to avoid extra costs to the state.

I use ground.news and just randomly picked one of the sources. Just noticed they also list the leaning of the publication. Switched to thehill.com article, which ground.news claims is center with high factuality

It’s the Daily Wire, so what to even expect, but I want Fetterman to only be referenced as Pennsylvania “Democratic” Senator.
