These fish are highly aggressive, invasive and eat other native fish eggs. Encouraged to kill after catching. I dropped my line in a spot and got a bite within 10 seconds. Simple drop shot right, size 8 hook. Chunk of Bar-S Classic Franks as bait, carefully covered hook tip to ensure it didn’t get caught on reeds. Happy to answer any questions.

I’m a Michigander. These bad boys are everywhere. I’ve literally caught hundreds of these. Toss them to the gulls.

I’ve read that botulism can harm birds if they eat these, the best option for me I think is to put them in the trash bin nearby because I can’t really dig a hole and bury them.

One time when I was like 19 I dipped bread in whiskey and fed it to a seagull. It couldn’t walk straight and had a hard time flying.

Hindsight being 20/20 that was a rotten thing to do, yes. But that seagull had a rad fuckin day, boy.
