    Hm. Certainly the most tactile experience and it’s great for showing off because it’s much bigger than CDs or cassettes, but if you want to actually use it it’s kinda meh IMO. But CDs are utterly boring and it’s actually pretty hard to find a decent tapedeck (if you buy an old one it’s very likely to have issues with playing at the correct and constant speed, and new ones are kinda expensive plus it’s not actually possible to get new parts and licenses for the old Dolby B/C noise reduction technologies).

      Vinyl is cheap and simple enough to get equipment for, high quality enough to enjoy, and don’t degrade in the same way as many other forms of media.

      (Yes it can be very expensive too, but so can anything if you want it to)
