    Most of the so-called “exiles” feel more comfortable in the West and have no intention of ever returning anyway. Especially if the Islamic Republic were to fall, it would not be the monarchist/liberal “paradise” they imagine, it would be Libya/Syria.

    And their “exile” is overwhelmingly self-imposed. They could just travel to Iran if they really wanted to. All they would need to do is not commit crimes while they’re there. Perhaps they are just telling on themselves and admitting that they would not be able to control themselves and would start committing crimes if they were to go back.

    Or they they have already actively collaborated with the Anglo-Zionist enemy to commit crimes against Iran. In which case, they fully deserve whatever they would get if they were to ever step foot in Iran again. Someone who betrays their own people and works with the imperialist enemy to kill their own countrymen is the lowest form of scum.
