Half a second before Dash sends himself head over heels. He did not in fact land on his feet.

The healthy tomatoes are growing way big so I’m going to have to plant outside sooner than later but I’d like to not do it alone.
So I’m back in bed sleeping with husband and waiting for him to wake up.
I tried to get him awake with food but he got up, ate it, and went back to bed (I did ask him to go outside with me and he said no he wanted to sleep more but food always gets him up)
I did find the trowel finally though.
Tomorrow is my 17th wedding anniversary. We got married in a small court room in a small town a couple of hours away from our home. We only invited immediate family, about 8 people total. Afterwards we went to a nice restaurant.
Apparently the judge who married us pulled my mom aside and said “ this is ridiculous, almost a waste of my time. It won’t last a year. “ - my mom didn’t tell me this until my 10th anniversary for whatever reason lol anyway, I was upset and puzzled.
She said the judge told her “ the bride is not thrilled to be here, that’s very unusual and just … not a great feeling when you’re marrying a couple “
I didn’t know I was autistic at this point. I was just living life, plenty of friends who just knew me as … you guessed it, “ quirky “. I was self aware enough though to realize I needed a very calm ceremony. I was very nervous to have attention on me and to kiss someone in front of my family. I guess the judge read that as me being miserable and held hostage but it was the happiest day of my life. One where I was so happy that I couldn’t compute, I was just trying to keep it on the rails. Anyway, judge, wherever you are, I’m autistic and so is my husband lmao
Lol that’s awesome. We had a similar experience with our Priest. We got married when we were 19 and 20 years old. Because we were so young we went along with what her mom wanted which was a traditional church wedding. The priest told her mom we would not last a year. We’ve been married 25 years. We’re both autistic!
Congratulations! 25 years is incredible, I’m so happy for you two. I don’t know what it is with these people who insist they know how long marriages will last. Even if you have that thought why the hell would you tell a family member?
My brother is also autistic and it’s more pronounced compared to me. He got a girlfriend a couple years ago. They eloped a few weeks ago and he was so nervous and shy about it that he basically whispered it to my mom and told her to tell the rest of the family. When I congratulated him he was so chuffed about it that he didn’t know what to say. They got a close friend to marry them so they wouldn’t get judged by a stranger after hearing my story I’m pretty sure 😂
I’ve always been upset by the phrase “head over heels”, as rationally it should be “heels over head”. In fact, as late as the 17th century (using AD time here because that’s what most people understand), it in fact was “heels over head”. At some point, it just got switched around, and now we’re left with a phrase that makes no sense.
So, you’re saying the heels over head phrase got turned head over heels?
Butterfly!
