    Er… Non-US countries also use “dozen” and have football fields. The only thing here that’s an american measurement is “inches”, and she shouldn’t have much a problem understanding that since the thing being measured is right in front of her.

      I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen someone measure things in football fields except in the US

      Also, football field != (American) football field

    Hah! Just as I suspected, you all only call your sport (also played on a field) “football” when Americans are listening in order to mess with us.
