Kurdphilic western leftists are genuinely the people I despise more then any other subgroup of leftists. They fetishize the Kurdish struggle into being whatever bullshit idealist nonsense they ascribe to and piss themselves dry when someone like myself points out that Kurds have been a reactionary force outside of Türkiye. I have family in the region that’d be effected by shitstain that would be Kurdistan, so I’m extremely critical of how that project develops, however I’ve yet to see it be anything anti-imperialist in practice, all of it is just rhetoric.

Kurds do not deserve ethnic cleansing or anything of the like, anyone can see that. However if you support arming Kurds in Iran, one of the only anti-imperialist countries in the region, while they’re in an exstistential war for their existence, HOW THE FUCK DO I SEE YOU AS ANYTHING BESIDES A PSYOP?!
Kurdistan is a dead project until the US and Israel is completely expunged from the region, and frankly I think it should stay that way outside Türkiye. The region doesn’t need more ethnostates sparking border conflicts and breeding resentment. Us filthy West Asians existed in a diverse Multicultural soceity around eachother for more than a thousand years. We can do that for a thousand more while western chauvinists learn that not every Multicultural soceity needs to be built a top the complete eradication of native peoples.
