They literally had the largest protest in American history last week. Wtf are you talking about? You expect Americans to just abandoned their jobs and livelihoods to protest all day? Why don’t you talk about the wealthy ppl who are making this happen and profiting from it instead of the poors for not risking homelessness and poverty to face riot squads to try and stop it?

It’s easy to hate Americans and say they’re letting something happen. The reality is that the US has not been a democracy for a long time.

Americans are protesting in numbers never before seen, but it doesn’t matter when the government is owned by the corporations and not by the people.

Realistically ppl need to commit to a long term plan of action that we prepare for months if not years in advance, sacrificing qol and building resources and systems of support with the expectation that we will lose our jobs and income for a good while. This can’t be a soft voice asking from a normal life for mercy, it needs to be a strong will demanding from a Spartan life that is prepared for a political and economic siege.

Yes, protest has been effectively nullified as a means for peacefully redressing grievances. Bring the economy to halt and watch them take us seriously.

our elections are sold to the highest bidder. Our reps are more afraid of trump than the voters, so we are ingored. 8 million people protested last week, it was ignored.
