Image is of a destroyed American AWACS plane in Saudi Arabia, of which there is a very limited supply and each of which is enormously expensive both monetarily and in terms of components. Iran hit this with a precision drone strike that likely cost ~$20,000.
I don’t have much to add from the last megathread description. This isn’t to say that nothing has happened or has changed since then - decades are still happening in weeks - but the general flow of the war is remaining the same. Trump sometimes threatens to open the Strait with troops and flatten Iran to rubble, and other times threatens that he’s gonna back off and let other countries handle it if they really want little trifles like “fuel” and “energy” so much. Iran continues to strike across the Middle East. The West continues to bomb civilian infrastructure due to their relative inability to affect the missile cities. In all: things are generally getting worse for America and the Zionists.
April is the month where the last ships that left Hormuz before it was closed will arrive around the world, so the last month of economic turmoil has been a mere prelude to what’s going to occur in the near-future. The silver lining is that Iran appears to be formalizing the new state of affairs in Hormuz, creating a rial-based toll to allow passage between a pair of Iranian-controlled islands where they can be monitored, meaning that, as long as the US doesn’t do something exceptionally stupid, the global energy crisis may “only” last a couple years instead of simply being the new reality from now on. Some countries have already agreed to this arrangement, and others will inevitably follow despite their consternation as their economies increasingly suffer.

Russia-Ukraine Conflict
Examples of Ukrainian Nazis and fascists
Examples of racism/euro-centrism during the Russia-Ukraine conflict
Sources:
Defense Politics Asia’s youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.
Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.
Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.
Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don’t want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it’s just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists’ side.

https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a ‘propaganda tax’, if you don’t believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

Yemen announces ‘joint operation’ targeting Israel alongside Iran, Hezbollah
This was the Yemeni army’s third operation since it joined the battle alongside its allies in the Axis of Resistance
The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on 1 April their third operation since entering the war alongside the Axis of Resistance, targeting “sensitive” sites in Israel in cooperation with Hezbollah and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“Our armed forces, with the help of Allah and relying on Him, carried out the third military operation in the ‘Battle of the Holy Jihad,’ which targeted sensitive targets of the Israeli enemy south of occupied Palestine with a barrage of ballistic missiles,” the YAF said in a statement.
“The operation was carried out in cooperation with the Mujahideen brothers in Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, and thanks to Allah, it achieved its objectives successfully,” the statement added.
“The enemy’s attempt to escalate its aggression, crimes, and attacks on Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Palestine will only push the free and proud Yemen to further escalation in the coming period until the aggression is stopped and the siege is lifted,” the YAF affirmed.
Sirens sounded in the south early on Wednesday due to ballistic missiles launched from Yemen. Tel Aviv said the attack was intercepted.
The launch from Yemen coincided with rocket and missile strikes from Lebanon and Iran.
Fourteen people were injured due to the Iranian missiles, which struck Tel Aviv and Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv.
Hebrew media has recently noted “non-stop” Lebanese rocket fire on northern settlements, where local officials are lambasting the Israeli government for failing to protect them.
The joint attack comes two days after Hezbollah and Iranian missiles hit the Bazan Oil Refinery in Haifa, setting a gas tank ablaze.
The YAF joined the war in late March, targeting sensitive sites in the south with a barrage of ballistic missiles.
A Yemeni missile directly impacted the city of Eilat.
YAF spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated that the operation was carried out in response to Israel’s crimes and massacres “against our brothers in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, and Palestine.”
After the genocide started in Gaza in 2023, the YAF was among the first groups to intervene militarily – alongside Hezbollah and Iraqi resistance factions.
The YAF implemented an unprecedented naval blockade on Israel, and began to target vessels linked to Israeli interests or those which were en route to Israeli ports. The operations inflicted a major blow to global shipping and the Israeli economy, while European and US naval deployments failed to deter Sanaa.
Yemen also targeted Washington’s warships, with US officials saying at the time that it was the most intense naval combat since World War II.
i wonder if/how they’re coordinating or if it’s a more ad-hoc “when we strike we’ll all sustain it long enough for everybody else to get in on it”
I hope to learn one day about all the cool cell coordination tactics they employed in this war. Truly impressive levels of asymmetric warfare against a technologically superior aggressor.
hopefully there’ll be a translation of “how we destroyed the zionist entity” i can read
