YSK if you mention a Mastodon user handle in the body of a Lemmy Post, they will be notified to every comment in the thread, including second and third level replies.
I am glad Avi is on Masto and posts somewhat regularly.
I don’t think he’ll be notified for this, his instance wasn’t included in the post.
