I am a fan of L. Ron Hubbard’s Mission Earth series. It is known as one of the worst science fiction series written. But when I began to read it as a child before the Internet really existed, I had no context about the series or Hubbard. So I thought it was a ridiculous comedy, not a serious story. If you read it as a comedy or parody it completely changes the books.

But there’s a cat on my feet…

Rototillering has happened.
The first machine didn’t work. So he agreed to return it and hopefully get a new model. They agreed. He came back, new one worked!
Found out the hose attachment is leaking. After a single year? Bah fucking annoying.
He returned the machine and they gave him a discount cause the first was factually broken. Wheee! He was paid in candied jalapeños, brownies, and once the month changes, money and a jar of chili.
