I don’t mean to critique Emma or the post as a whole, but people really need to stop saying “Gaza genocide”. The mass-killings of Gaza are a part of the genocide, but this is like referring the Holocaust as “The Warsaw genocide” or the East Timor genocide as the “Santa Cruz genocide”. It’s just ceding ground to ethno-nationalists that the problem doesn’t include the forced-removal, killing, and apartheid elsewhere. There’s a reason that western publications refer to them exclusively as “Gazans”. It’s not on the same level as liberal genocide-denialist bullshit like “Netanyahu regime”, but it matters.

The name of the people being genocided is the easiest. You can make up your own as long as you aren’t accepting a name with harmful framing.
- Palestinian Genocide (“- In Gaza” if you really need to specific)
- Israeli Genocide of Palestinians
- Ongoing Nakba
The last, in my opinion, is the most apt, but you’re mostly going to be speaking to people too ignorant to understand it, so it’s unusable for most situations
